    too rich for benefits?

You should not be receiving benefits for what is essentially a lifestyle choice that you have made. What started as you excusing your idleness for your wife's ill-health has evolved into what is clearly you choosing not to work full-time so that you can spend more time with your kids. I resent...

    Beyonce or Katy Perry?

So if you ended up in bed with Katy Perry I presume you'd tell your mates the next day that you sh*gged a munter? I thought not. You'd be shouting it from the rooftops. I'd bite my right arm off for either of them.

    What Book Are You Reading?

The Regeneration Trilogy by Pat Barker - just finished the first one and it was a brilliant read. Based on real life experiences of British army officers being treated for shell shock after WWI - very interesting and pretty harrowing.

    Adam Stansfield 1978-2010

Devastating news - words can't express what a loss this is. An Exeter City legend and as nice a guy as you could ever be lucky enough to meet. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Ryan Harley not in the Team photo

No idea whether this is true or just a massive wind-up, but I'd agree with Poults in that it may actually be a good time for him to leave. He's a class player and was obviously a key player in us staying up last year, but he only has 1 year left on his contract. I'd suggest that chances of him...

    Norrie

Oh dear. I think you should consider giving up on Exeweb - each time you post your credibility (of which there is little left) takes even more of a battering.

    Lack of respect

2 majors since his comeback and joint 4th in both (while not playing particularly well). When it's mattered he's upped his game - still the bloke to beat

    Lack of respect

Having taken spunk loads of money off hs sponsors as a result of his cleaner than clean image, I think the least he can expect is a handful of toughish questions about his personal life once this image is shown to be a fraud. Won't be surprised if he wins it comfotarbly this weekend though...

Who got us in this mess?

I echo what Poult's said - that may have been the aim, but the ideology has been shown to have failed. It's results that count, and the fact a Labour government presided over a decrease in social mobility is a damning indictement of this ideology. I accept that Labour attempted reform to a...

Who got us in this mess?

This may not surprise you, but I'd suggest that the former was the more reckless policy! Years upon years of spending beyond our means, and years upon years of pumping money into public services on an ideological basis, whilst making little or no effort to reform them so as to ensure that the...

    Wayne Carlisle....

Was decent at times while he was here, but we don't need him now. Money can be better spent elsewhere

    Norrie

A good man may have been put in place, and the best man for the role may have been appointed, but how someone can become 'convinced' that this is the case after watching an interview on the website is beyond me. If he had been anything but convincing then I would have been pretty worried.

    University Degrees

It hasn't been officially announced yet, but Gove was saying in the Sunday Times at the weekend that it is something he wants to do. Touch wood it's something that materialises. Agree that it will take a long time though.

    University Degrees

A Levels may not be '**** easy', but they are definitely a whole lot easier than yesteryear. The introduction of AS Levels has only served to make them even easier. The fact that the subjects are now so modular, and that you can retake any module that you didn't so well in, and that the fact...

    Norrie

How can it be that there is still no official press release regarding Norrie's appointment? How long can it possibly take? The further it is delayed, the more people on here will speculate and agitate - how the Club don't realise this (having made the very same mistake so many times in the past)...

    England rumours: JT V Gerrard

A friend of mine who works at Grazia magazine has seen the injunction papers (which apparently were sent round all media outlets) for herself - he has definitely been shagging the 16 year old (not his wife's sister) and I think she said he has her up the duff. What a lovely bunch of blokes we...
