Just watched it now and it has convinced me that despite the flaws in the appointment process the end result has been a good man in place.
A good man may have been put in place, and the best man for the role may have been appointed, but how someone can become 'convinced' that this is the case after watching an interview on the website is beyond me. If he had been anything but convincing then I would have been pretty worried.

Anyone got any idea when this joint trust/club statement, that rightwing said was being worked on, will actually be released? Or are we meant to have forgotten about it?

"Convinced" was the wrong word in retrospect. "Inclined to believe" would be a better way of describing my view.

Just as well you were given a second chance cos they're completely different.

Anyway, what about my question?

The point was made to both the BOS and the Club. I'm as much in the dark as to when any statement will be released as you are. However I think it is fair to say that all the circumstances of Norrie's appointment have now clearly become evident from the video of the press conference.

Sorry Adrian I cannot agree with that.

If one assumes that its reasonable for an executive of the club to draw up the requirements for a job having precluded themselves from applying for said position and subseqently making themselves available, then you could make a case for all pertinent information having been made available but I doubt this is what RW meant.

When studying body language you also have to quickly try and gauge what is the person's normal behaviour so you can interpret the changes in behaviour - it's not all about the actual behaviour, more the changes under questioning. You also have to try and factor in nerves due to the situation as opposed to stress signals resulting from the question posed.

It's not as easy as some people make it sound i.e. scratches nose = paedo.
So what if someone spends years and years studying psychology and and body language to the point of making it an artform, we've got some of the greatest minds that ever were on Exeweb and he's been done bang to rights for being "shifty".

Amateur opinions are always the best.
