Possibly not, as had the goal been correctly given, Nards wouldn't have got himself sent off for his childish and pathetic rant at the lino. We were on top of the game until we went down to 10 men.
I don't see how losing to AFC Wimbledon is that funny. Yes it's hilarious whenever the scum lose, but the Wombles are a fan-owned club (just like us) and are on the up...what they've achieved in the last nine years is amazing!
Thanks for the kind words. But I'm afraid I have to completely disagree with you regarding the "corner". I (and countless other City fans) were pretty much in line with the goal and clearly saw the ball come off the Colchester player.
But as others have said, regardless of that we should have...
I'd be incredibly surprised if anyone here who's saying "we're sh*t" and that we're unfairly blaming the ref for the defeat was actually at the game. The officials yesterday were appalling, especially that idiot lino who was on our side of the pitch for the first half and seemed to get every...
I agree Grecian1966. I live in Kingston and although there is a large contingent of Chelsea and Fulham fans, most of the people I know grew up supporting Wimbledon and are now AFC Wimbledon fans. As other City supporters are no doubt aware, trips to Stadium:MK consist of matches with a home...
As another poster said, I heard a few negative comments at Peterborough - "Tisdale why don't you retire" and the like, but it was only a couple of people on their own and in some instances rather tongue in cheek. I think the number of fans who genuinely want Tis out is so minuscule that their...
Haha, I thought they said "the German player" too at first. But as the guys above have mentioned I think it was "journeyman player".
I'm also annoyed that we only got 3/4 minutes of airtime - such a lack of respect. It was the only match in League One!
I would definitely recommend booking tickets in advance for the BB on Saturday - I can't post a link as I'm a new user but there's one on the main page of the City website that will allow you to do so.
Hope you enjoy the game!
I can't help but re-iterate the view of a couple of other Grecians on here - surely automatic promotion for Huddersfield is pretty remote, and given that fact, won't Mr. Clark choose to rest key players for the play-offs rather than risk injury against a team who are fighting for their lives...
I have also booked in advance for the match (BB) because as others have said, I think it'll be a sell-out on the day. If you were to arrive early (1.30pm) you may well be OK, but to be honest I'd pay the extra few quid to be safe!
