Turkey No, prefer goose
Christmas Pudding Yes with a slice of stilton.
Mince Pies Not on the day but in the two weeks before and after 25th, essential.
Sprouts Yes, Not Xmas without them, cooked with lardons to make dinner complete.
Christmas Cake No, waste of time, who actually eats that stuff, marzipan yeuhh!

Bonus One:
Queens Speech What is it, something to do with Freddie Mercuries lisp?
I'll take the stilton but give the Xmas pudding part to someone else.

Plenty of that in the flesh pots of Plymouth last night.

I certainly decided the correct action was to beat it back up the A38.

As I am definitely in my anecdotage and tend to start sentences with "That reminds me of the time...", that reminds me of the time I went for a night out with mates in Exmouth after a City game. It was when the Echo published a Football Final and also in the regular paper a list of stockists. I was therefore re-assured that there was a newsagents in the Strand called Ruff. There was a shop in the Strand but with the simple word 'Newsagent' over the door. I went in to ask the lady behind the counter whether they had the Final. When I returned a mate said "I hope to God you didn't ask "Excuse me, are you Ruff ?""
