Ah, I tried to double quote, which obviously didn't work. I posted the Lyrics to "Something in the Air", this from From AP's post. As opposed to dark clouds from your post. Me trying to be too clever by half, sorry.

Just seen Sturtz knows what I'm on about.:)
Ahh,thought i was being clever with something's in the air?

He's going nowhere. The club won't sack him and he's too stubborn to walk
Probably thinks he's doing a good job and in his head sees it all turning round
Of course we know it won't but he gives zero ****s about that
That's it then? will be a lot cheaper in the long run but we will have to hire a Hitman(tisdale)you're GONE.

Glad i only wasted 5 minutes of my life reading this thread after it was all over. No point following the actual match : already know what's going to happen.

Awful result but expected. It isn't a coincidence that when we won at Colchester we had tl have a go and scored 3. Just attack the oppo ffs.

I would say let's hope it gets nasty on Saturday but fat chance of that. Muted applause and a few boos at the end I am sure.

not entirely sure why I think this, but I think he just might resign tonight......the interview in the week followed by 2 very late subs to salvage something even though it eats up valuable time smacks of total desperation, and going over the travellers at the end to applaud them suggest to me something is in the air......
tbh ,, think with ?? minutes to go a point didnt seem to be a bad option we were holding them, so one way of looking at it was no reason to change the shape, the goal changed it, so then he had to change it. as for the resignation , who knows, rumor has it he's offered it b4 but it hasnt been accepted.

Not so sure about that reading the various social media sites the mood is beginning to get a little darker.

He admitted in the post match interview it was a fair result and that one goal would decide it.The current inability to anticipate that doing a match and proactively change how we try to win a match is killing us.His answer to swap a defender for a defender and do nothing else was so wrong.

I agree the change was needed after the goal 007, but he could have brought them both on at the same time, he brought McAllinden on with about 90 seconds of normal time to go when he could have just done the double substitution about 5 minutes earlier. Seems illogical and desperate to me, and maybe he had set himself a personal target to get at least something before a ball was kicked ?. Anyways, just seen the post match interview on Facebook, the strain and stress is now extremely evident, I hope he does the right thing now both for himself and everybody else. The right thing is resignation, he knows the impact on the club if he is sacked, and the club has stood by him for a long time and been very patient and therefore done the right thing by him in a weird way, so he should reciprocate now. And I have always been supportive of him, but that dark cloud is hanging over everybody now and is very depressing for most supporters, and also very unhealthy for the club in business terms. Do it Paul....

Just heard snippet of his after match interview. There is not the slightest chance of him walking may be different if we lose next Saturday but I still believe our only chance of getting rid lies within the compass of the new Trust Board always supposing the members are bright enough to use their four votes to elect as Trustees those individuals who have stated their intent to reform the Board and its modus operandi and leave their remaining three votes unused.

Certainly no inkling of that in his post match interview I'm afraid to say.
