Given that the Trust model has come under fire as of late as being unsustainable, does anyone know who the Isca people were that wanted to take control of the club in 2002 (?) but lost out to Russel and Lewis *shudder*...?

It was led by Joe Gadston who was an OTR director. I suspect that more from OTR were also involved.

Afaik, they were never a formally established or constituted group so there is little documented about them and I suspect that only those involved back then are the only ones who remember.

However, Trust AGM minutes from 2001 & 2002 indicate
that Taggy seemed to be the leading protagonist.

A number of sleeping members but leading lights were Steve Perryman, Joe Gadston (former player and close friend of Steve P) and the current Chief Executive. So control of the club was secured without the need to put in any of their own money as we all did the job for them :)

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Over 5000 at home on a Tuesday night in league two, and at that stage I don't think we were anticipating the season would end in promotion. Talking about crowds I recall in our first season in league one playing Carlisle on a Tuesday night, the crowd was shortly over 4000 I believe which at the time seemed a little disappointing.
