Who do you want City to sign?

I'm changing my mind on this.

I now think that there is no point us signing players that Tis and Perryman don't think are (or are capable of becoming quickly) top quarter of League 1 standard. Apart from needing the best second (or first) goalkeeper we can get even if they don't meet that test, anyone else ought to be that level. Otherwise howzabout we give the youngsters a chance, and review in January.

Good post John. [y]

Tisdale and Perryman know what makes a good player, that much is certain, if they think a players got potential at this level and they don't make it like Jake Thomson/James Norwood etc. then thems the breaks, at least he gave them a shot.

RIP Stanno, City Legend never to be forgotten
After tonight, we should sign: -

Messi
Villa
Xavi
Iniesta; and
Pedro

If the trust can't afford that lot we should give up.

That is all.

That should get us the play-offs.

Get Bill on the case. He'll fix it.

Hersh,

The Barcelona Trust does afford it. If they can, and our supporters believe fully in the concept, then, given time, why not?

Would be an almost identical replacement to Cureton but we couldn't afford his wages and I doubt he'd want to join us!

Oddly enough, I said the last two post my cousin on the phone last night. However, it might be worth looking slightly further east across Brum. I see that Villa have released half a dozen 1st/2nd year pros.
