In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
April 1971...Stood in the St James Rd end to watch Alan Banks score his 100th goal for the Grecians during a 3-1 win against Chester.
Not sure about a idol, but loved watching Dave Gibson on the wing, Tony Scott was on the other wing feeding Fred Binney & Alan Banks.

27 December 1983, lost 1-2 to Brentford (Chris Kamara, etc) although I remember it being 1-3 so maybe a goal was disallowed and I didn’t realise. I was only 10 years old so give me a break.

Hooked ever since.

First game I remember was 0-0 at home with Gillingham in 1978 I think. Vince O'Keeve and later Steve Neville in all 3 spells he had with us.

September 1967 Plainmoor v Torquay in League Cup Draw 0-0. Torquay in 3rd Division - era of O'Farrell, Stubbs (for Torquay:)) - why I hope they emerge from their current difficulty + my first ever game was Torquay v Brighton in the previous season.
John Corr first idol.
