Why is it open for debate? Do you believe post Brexit that overseas companies won’t be able to work in this country or something?
Might be more expensive / hassle for them to do so, so I would agree in this instance with the word ‘moot’.

That entire post is pure supposition.
Why? That's exactly how it works with third countries right now - a carnet is required for the import / export of non-perishable goods, and a working visa is required to work in a foreign country.

I'd recommend this YouTube video if you'd like to learn more on the topic. Jeremy Clarkson and James May were against leaving the EU due to the additional administrative burden that Brexit threatened - it's certainly non-trivial.

The point being that your post was full of words like ‘likely’, ‘might’, ‘maybe’ etc. Even your link above uses the word ‘threatened’. So no definites then, all ifs, buts and maybes. Not saying it won’t be the case, but possible outcomes - or even probable outcomes - are not definite outcomes. So there’s nothing to say a German company won’t work in the UK post Brexit, and until a deal (or not) is thrashed out there’s not much point in discussing it.

Any deal short of EFTA will result in what I stated. It doesn't look like this government (or Corbin's Labour) want EFTA.

a couple of things - when Nigel pointed out the hipocracy by Junker of him complaining about Trump tariffs on EU goods when the EU themselves place tariffs on more than 13,000 different products from outside the EU ( (including steel) this was not refuted.

also. there was legislation already drafted for imediately after we had voted YES ( haha) that would see our ability to draft zero VAT on the following items/services.....just think of the far reaching effects each will have either on their own or in combination with eachother or even in combination with existing vat attracting products/services

Children's clothes & footwear ( school uniforms etc).......public transport fares ( bus, train, taxi, plane )....( plus free bus passes could be a thing of the past).....FOOD, yep - FOOD......medicines ( over the counter has 20% already but presciptions are zero )......some insurance/finance services..............Aviation Fuel is also Zero but that could change too

Don't worry guys none of this was ever mentioned preVote and it's still never been mentioned since....all this baloney about prices going up when we would have been stung bigtime if we had stayed regardless
