Isolated or the start of something bigger.

Supposedly a protest about some low life shot by the Met, he was carrying a gun and deserved to get shot just like every other scum bag that carries a gun or a knife, the fact that he died is a bonus in my view.

Very little to do with that as usual, this is just f*ck wit kids having a fun night out, there will be plenty of copy cats.

According to an eyewitness report on the Beeb, young kids were throwing bricks and fireworks, and then adults turned up with trolleys and even cars to take away TV sets etc - looters, in fact. She says she called the police and they replied there was nothing they could do about it with the resources they had. Hearsay, of course, and not a generalization.

Er duh!

It's august and this is England. Therefore, it's rioting week. Happens every year.

The early beginnings to the start of something bigger IMO. The next 20 years in England will be interesting.

Send in the Syrian Police to shoot anything that moves. I love it that the rioters burn their own shops, pubs and homes. AU is right it is the summer and riots are part and parcel of British deprived areas

The Police will have a busy day today in london. Tottenham clean up, Man U v Man C and the ever friendly West Ham v Cardiff. Oh, and there is also some other festival/carnival going on in North London somewhere. Plenty of overtime.

These rioters are mindless idiots and do not think of the ramifications of their actions. There are families and young children living in or close to the buildings they are setting on fire. They are all potential murderers and should be shot.

The looting of Charity shops is utterly disgusting.

Aswell as the rest of the horrific things done last night.

They looted charity shops? Mental. People give the crap they fill charity shops with and then someone nicks it.

Looter A. "Let's go looting"
Looter B. "Good Idea, there's a Hifi/Tv shop just over the road"
Looter A. "Nah, there's an Oxfam a bit further up. Loads of cardigans and unwanted records there"
