I was in the away end so probably didn't have the best view! On the whole I though the ref let the game flow, ball was caught up a lot under peoples legs and he could easily have blown but he let the game go on, no complaints from me overall.

He actaully spoke to the Morecmabe players when they were being gobby, a lot of referess ignore it so it was nice to see that too.

Ah the typical "lets blame the ref" for us not being good enough attitude.

Cozic won the ball but he came through the back of the player, definite yellow.
I was stood next to you Josh and i saw that it was a clean tackle.

Careful Josh. You'll get accused of being a Morecambe fan soon!

Morecombes dissallowed goal. Was it handball? Or was it dissallowed
foe something else? Looked a fair goal from where I was but like I
say I didn't have a clear view.

A push on Jones *I think*

Very soft free kick if so.

That was a soft free kick if correct, and the referees let us off big
time there.

I found this interview with Gavin Ward, this bit was pretty funny.

What skills do you think you need to become a referee?

Remaining calm in all situations with positive body language, man management and self confidence helps to control matches, as players pick up on this. Having the ability to listen to advice offered from more senior colleagues, this will help develop you as referee. Most importantly is to enjoy what you do.

I'm sorry but running down the tunnel whilst blowing his whistle doesn't really display "calmness" or "self confidence", plus he looked about 12 haha.

my last say on this.

The referee wasn't the worse I've seen. Believe it or not he is in his late 20s!

Football is a contact sport.

Mcillroy is a tw*t.

The linesman in front of the flybe made me look slim.

Cozic was imo unlucky to get booked.

City's fate is still in their own hands!

UTC!!!

The ref was rather sh*te to be honest, he knew he was crap, thats why he went down the tunnel so quickly.
