Good win, good battling performance.

Don't create enough chances, don't get enough bodies in the box and we don't shoot enough.

Crack on

Nice one.
So that’s @Average Joe ’s third trip with a donation to his local Foodbank this season then, so far.
I shall be going tomorrow morning.

Really pleased.

Well done the lads. Form table doesn't lie, last 6 games we're 5th, last 4 we're 2nd. We're getting better.

Thought we were top drawer today, made Stevenage look the pantomime cartoons - most ably demonstrated by their hysterical - in every sense of the word - management team - that they really are. Tireless work from Sonny and a good finish from Cole were all that was need to beat this bunch of huffers comfortably. We were the only ones playing football, and at times we were properly electric.

Special praise to the defence, Vil and Woods, any of them could have been MotM, but happy that it went to Hartridge, he’s been a bit of a forgotten man of late. But anyway, today almost guarantees safety - Port Vale, who we play next weekend - occupy the last relegation spot and are 14 points behind with five left to play. And praise to Caldwell and his team too - we’re on a real roll guess at the moment and on course to beat last season’s points total with a stronger finish than last season too.

Life is good, and if we can get a striker or two on board in the summer, well…

My kind of game. Love it. There is something about Alli but seems 4 out of 5 times he’ll fail whatever he’s trying. Aimson outstanding, I hope he stays for his final year (and ideally extends…).

I thought Sweeney had a fantastic game. First half it was hard to work out what position he was playing as he was all over the pitch.

Well, it was described by the commentators as "terrific" and ECFC Twitter as "huge" and watching it back again it was an excellent save. He positions himself perfectly, the striker feigns to put it to his right but Sinisalo doesn't have any of that, spreading his body so the legs easily block the shot on his near post side.
It was a big save in the context of the game but if you turn it around to it being a City striker going through on goal like then you would be asking some serious questions as to how he hasn't scored.

Thought we played very well today, Ryan woods is a top top player. Alli seems to have a bit about him just lacked on some of his decision making. UTC!

Out of interest, Has fatty Evans said the result was a travesty of justice yet?

Brilliant result and a really solid performance, well done Gary, well done the team and thank you Alex Hartridge.
Wonder if that was Alex,s final game for City. Captain for the day, up on Sweeney,s shoulders after the final whistle and Jules suspension coming to an end
