Decent first half from city against a big Accrington side with a strong press. Hopefully we’ll get another goal early in the second half and go on to a big win, with a goal from Stanno and hopefully one for Super Sam.

Trouble free half, Blackman not tested at all. Got the impression that Accy were after the draw from the start and we struggled to break them down. Most attacks building down the right but the goal came down the left, bit of Mitchell quality there, cut inside, cut inside, made space and hit it (with his right?).
Just what was needed, they will have to come at us now and we have the players to profit from the space created behind.
Come on Jay Stanno, the stage is set!

They've been particularly good at closing down our centre-halves when they've had the ball but that's left space further up the pitch which City have made the most of. Josh and Jay have been lively and on the ball a lot with mixed results and, like last week, Demetri has barely touched the ball but when he has done he's made it count.
