Bath City's game at home to Dulwich Hamlet abandoned effectively after 5 minutes due to what sounds a very serious injury to Alex Fletcher involving colliding with the advertising hoardings. For a match at that National League South to be called off you have to think it is a really worrying incident.

Edit. Collided head first with the advertising hoardings apparently.

The injury to Alex fletcher sounds incredibly serious and worrying.

I wonder if there was a warning for football when George Ray (before he joined us) landed up head first on a (concrete?) terrace after going over the hoardings.

I've just read of the Alex Fletcher incident and the statement above from his parents. I'm wishing him a full and speedy recovery; and sending love to them.
