Incorrect interruptions and seeing as no clue has been posted yet, i'm afraid that counts as one.
How can he interrupt something that hasn't happened?

Farce.

I'm not sure that said establishment qualifies as a pub. (n)
Agreed. Horrible place. £50 on Swanny. :)

I'll also go £20 E/W on Greyhound and £10 E/W on Stroudy.

The answer is the Pinhoe Hoard.

Chalk me up for the first point Quizmater. (flex)

Full workings available.
Ought to be renamed 'The Pinhoe Hole.'I had the misfortune to go to the place a year or so back after a friend arranged for us to meet up there on one of my returns to Exeter.
All that a pub shouldn't be.

I have never visited the aforementioned establishment and it would seem I ought not break the habit based on the posts above.

Could still be the answer mind given Lino's Pinhoe connections.

Are you questioning the Quizmater's authority? :D

I hope that this isn't a slap in the face for tradition but as crosswords are all the rage at the moment, i have compiled one for the quiz. It's not especially fiendish but i will need all of the correct answers in a single post for the pointage to be awarded.

We know Swanny is an expert in crossword setting and probably solving the buggers.

Unintentional NC leaning here ? :S

How dare you! :p

It's really not too fiendish so you won't need to be a enigmatologist (yes, i looked it up). A City player knowledge will be more helpful than crossword knowledge.

You must have misheard: he's very keen on Pinot.
