Yeah, I've heard a few times that the great length of the Wembley pitch is a bit of an optical illusion. It's just slightly bigger. There is a fair amount of fatigue there, more due to game being played at the end of the season, and (sometimes not now) hotter weather than normal.

Oakley shouldn't start whatever the size of the pitch however. Nothing wrong with him on the bench though, he covers a few positions.

Pym
Stacey
Woodman
Moore-Taylor
Brown
Tillson
Taylor
Holmes
Wheeler
Watkins
Reid
The fatigue is sometimes due to the nervous energy that is spent because a match at Wembley is a big deal and can be a but stressful for some players. At the old Wembley especially players often got cramp and it wasn't a result of heavy going.

I think there was also something a bit off with the pitch at the old Wembley, fair few broken legs too. Elton John's uncle, Dave Whelan broke his too, doesn't like to talk about it though...

I must admit I also left out Harley, and I'm a big fan of his. I just really like Holmes and Reid too, and I think we need two solid mids too, and Holmes, Reid, Tillson should all be relatively fresh for various reasons. Harley can work as a super-sub if needed, he used to do it a bit when he was first here, he enjoys playing against tired players.

I've criticised Harley recently but I think he is a big game player (seems to grow in confidence) and he played really well against Carlisle. Tizzy has some difficult choices to make.

Well they're good choices to have to make, rather than struggling to get a team out like earlier in the season, he could go with dozens of options. Itis Tis too, so he may do something left-field like pick McAlinden. I don't think any of us expected Grant to start first-leg. Seemed to work.

Not saying that he hasn't made some bad ones too. Liverpool away for instance.

Woodman at RB??
For some odd reason, this seems to be the way teams are put on the BBC.

Anyway, off course not right back. Although he and JMT's are fully capable of hitting passes and crosses with their right foot.

We need to stop that fat blonde lad in Blackpool's midfield.
This sentence needs to be read in a Sam Allardyce voice. :)

I seem to remember Brad Potts looking like their best player against us. Might be thinking of someone else though.
