Is it though? Bowman works hard and presses defenders.
That’s Pretty much how he’s employed Nombe? Is it not. What is a GC style striker?…he’s not actually signed one yet for us yet has he?
Scott is actually a Winger who looks like he should be a target man but clearly isn’t.

Bowman is an immobile target man of the old school if you think that's the style that Gary is building then you will be watching a very different game to the rest of us.

Think of any player the direct opposite of Bowman. Preferably one who can get into second gear and move rather than standing on the spot waiting for the ball to come to him. Bowman is suited to teams who play the long ball not to a team playing possession based football that require a striker with guile and movement
