Quite a long thread on PASOTI calling for restraint on chants today from BOTH sides- although acknowledging there are idiots who will ignore totally.

Echoing their sentiments here..... But glancing sadly at my avatar.

Today should be about the football and creating a wonderful Devon derby atmosphere. Chating about a footballer who has passed and McCormicks past just is not worth it and reinforces Devon and Cornwall polices assumption on the game which costs both clubs in the long run,

How has Stanno vs the child killer got any comparison? Stanno was a loving, kind, family man, a loving husband and a great father who sadly passed away with an incredibly terrible illness. Whereas McCormick felt the need to go out drinking all night, be stupidly over the drink drive limit, doing speeds of over 100mph, killing two innocent children and ruining a families life!

Neither fans should use Stanno or McCormick to get one over the other. Let's be the better set of fans and think of something more original to chant, and more importantly get behind the chuffing team!
