So, do Subway REALLY sponsor the substitutions now?

Why was it just us that 'Subway Subs'? MK merely had 'Subs'.

Non-issue for me, like others have said if it brings in a bit of cash then so be it, it did sound a bit tinpot though - poor Joe!

I can see both sides of this one...

Yes the added income is always welcome but SubWay Sub...argh it was so cringeworthy!

Glad I didn't start this thread thou, would of been trending by now!

I thought it was ridiculous, as did a lot of other people. I can accept the Subway Sub thing though, it's whoring of the highest order and made me cringe, but as long as it doesn't impact on my enjoyment of the game (which tannoy noise after goals does) then I don't care too much.
To be honest, I wouldn't even think that the Subway Sub thingy was a good way of advertising. Who would notice it?

They noticed the thread, not the sponsors ad.

question is does it work, did anybody leave the game and go to subway due to the sponsership deal?
I very much doubt it. Not that I would personally go to Subway anyhow.

perhaps when the City physio runs onto the field, we could announce that he is sponsored by Elastoplast?
