Might be in the minority but find this trend depressing, does sbolutely everything have to be about making cash? Hope we never sell the name
You don’t have to sell the name, you can add a sponsors name alongside the original e.g The Stagecoach Adam Stansfield Stand.Might be in the minority but find this trend depressing, does sbolutely everything have to be about making cash? Hope we never sell the name
Not for me squire, the ‘stok cae res’ sounds ridiculous, it’s a f****** instant coffee. Stands always change names over time, the name of the ground doesn’t. Expected from Americans mind…rabid capitalists. You don’t have to sell the name, you can add a sponsors name alongside the original e.g The Stagecoach Adam Stansfield Stand.
I partially agree that a stadium shouldn’t lose it’s name, but turning down ’easy’ money when we don’t have a money tree owner can’t be ruled out. Anything that can bring money in apart from matchdays has to be looked at.Not for me squire, the ‘stok cae res’ sounds ridiculous, it’s a f****** instant coffee. Wash your mouth out young manGinsters ?
They appear to have been involved in a "success story" at Pasty End in that unmentionable place 40 mileish W of the Fairer City of Exeter plus we shouldn't run out of stock at SJP next season !Wash your mouth out young man
It’s a shame some of the old grounds now have a cheesy sponsors names.
New builds having a sponsor every few years is a different matter.
It doesn't bother me, if it brings in cash I'm all for it. It will always be SJP to me so long as we're at that site regardless of any sponsorship name. I sit in the Selco but often refer to it s the Doble stand and sometimes even the Cowshed.Might be in the minority but find this trend depressing, does sbolutely everything have to be about making cash?
