Because they can't pay c.£300 in one lump sum at the start of the season but can afford £15-£20 every other week?

Indeed not.
Get a new credit card with 12 months interest free credit on purchases. Buy a season ticket. Pay it off a little per month. Sorted. Simples.

RIP Stanno, City Legend never to be forgotten
It is very simple to solve. One person only needs one ticket regardless of how many priority groups they may qualify in. If the club only sold one ticket to one person instead of three or four then every priority group member would get their ticket.
If the family, freinds and work colleagues of the multi grouper want a ticket then they must join the scrimmage with the rest of us on general release.
Spot on.

They should only allow more than one for things like Wembley trips, where numbers are simply not going to be an issue; under all other circumstances, you should get your ticket and, if you want more, you join the general release crew at that time..................

In terms of timing of ticket release, IMO ST holders should get first dibs, then 'other members', then joe public.

I agree that it should be one ticket per person even if you do belong to more than one priority group. The problem its that it really makes the the trust redundant. Inevitably the membership will fall beyond those principled enough to keep going. Can the club survive without trust money? - probably. What else can the trust give members if it's priority status was devalued , can the trust survive.
