One thing that got me thinking.
The Premier league has to sell packages to at least 2 providers. The EU Stipulated this and it has to be done. So therefore you end up with a sky +1(Setanta, ESPN and BT) Deal.
Yet the Champions league does not have to be sold separately across at least 2 broadcasters. Why is this? Surely by the European Union standards its wrong for the Champions league and Europa league matches to be sold exclusively to one broadcaster and if i was sky or especially ITV i would argue this point loudly and clearly.
