You mean like Fleetwood did 41 appearances 28 goals.
Tim Sills also comes to mind. Prolific in the Conference but struggled in the league.

Probably asked to hit the ground running, but only managed to hit the ground.

Liked the look of Crawley winger Enzio Boldewijn the last couple of seasons. Just been offered a new contract.

Surprised we didn't move for Luke Young.

Like it . (y) Mind you the Gulls could have done with him in his Conference prime last season.

Maybe we'll miss out on a few now if Tis is off and what with the playoffs too.If Tis goes right after that someone else will have to sort out our own retained list.Mind you , a new manager will have his own ideas anyway.

Hope there's a contingency plan in case Tis leaves..

Unless the new appointment was internal that might be difficult given that the new manager will have his own team building
ideas on and off the pitch.

Remember when Inglethorpe left, we apparently had a number of signings lined up but the majority fell through (other than Stanno) as the club wanted the new manager to make his own signings. So Tisdale came in, retained Andy Taylor and signed Pat Ada, Bertie Cozic and an ageing Jon Richardson.

Thank **** he saw the light and brought in Sir Rob Edwards.

I’d imagine most contracts have already been offered for the current squad but should Tisdale leave we may be leaving it late to identify players. Still think Tisdale will stay, mind.
