I'd thought there would be only volunteers on matchdays, Rest of the time they'd be all paid staff I'd imagine.
You need to take a visit into SJP on 'normal' week days then if that's what you think.... It's probably the reverse actually.

I was referring to Home Park Andy, Not SJP, I have first hand knowledge of the amount of volunteers on a day to day basis at SJP, Mind that was quite a few years ago.

Right understand now.

I doubt anybody in Plymouth does anything for free!

Sad to note. Exeter City sets itself apart and we own our football club, after all. Preempting a similar redundancy announcement from St James Park, could we 'go back to our (more recent) roots' as a fan-owned Club and see if we could look once more on some willing volunteers? Call it tin-pot if you like, but if you believe some of the 'end of football as we know it' hysteria, shouldn't we be making some contingency arrangements?

Every two or three years the Trust seeks out and asks for details of potential volunteers, yet we never get asked for specialist help. I can only speculate that the newer paid staff don't want free help, Turkeys voting for Christmas etc.

Purely out of interest, cant that thread title have 'from a City perspective' added to it? It really has bugger all to do with us as it stands. Just a thought. Hasnt Mr Holloway got a project we can talk about?
