Back in the days when the Express n Error was published six days a week, my late mother would always turn to read first what she termed "The Hatch, Match and Dispatch" columns, ie the Births, Marriage, and Obituary notices ! :)

My mother and nan were the same, Local rag (Holsworthy Post) look who's new to the world and look who's shuffled off too plus critiquing the wedding photos too, They were brutal with them! 🙂

Thomas O'Halloran 87 yrs old brutally stabbed to death.

Had been playing his accordian outside a local Tesco's in Greenford raising money for the Ukraine and was attacked while riding his mobility scooter home.
A truly shocking crime.

The punishment of the perpetrator will not be adequate.
