Yes they can be **** poor, I injured myself playing footie two weeks ago, the doctor said an x ray was not required and that it would be ok in a week, I went back the other day and had an x ray, I had broken my collarbone, although it is a fairly minor injury the service provided was sh*t.

Whenever I've had to use the NHS I've actually found it to be a great service. Would you rather have had your grandad have the seizure and then people chasing up his insurance before treating him at all? People seem to forget that the NHS allows them to wander into a hospital and have something done, rather than in America where you have to pay for everything so basically need insurance to cover it.

Was that the GP or A & E Weemiss ? In my experience (or rather my son who has had three fractures) A & E do an x ray where there is the tiniest chance of a break/fracture.

The NHS I find a bit hit & miss. Sometimes you'll see someone who's hopeless, next time you'll see someone brilliant. There just seems to be no consistency whatsoever. A crap shoot if you like.

what he said
Dont like the service? Pay and go private!
Unless you work for them you have no idea what goes on and targets/politics!
And if you wanna blame someone for all that blame the government not the NHS - They make the decisions and rules
We just have to obey them!
