Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Am sure it will be sub three and probably a bit lower than the York game. It's alarming how things have dropped, I remember the will we get a sub three thousand crowd thread from last season. At that point the idea of it dropping that low was ridiculed by some. Any bets made have been well and truly lost (clap)

Crowd swollen with potential managers having a crafty shufti from the stands.

Disbelief...
Pretty sure the Dawlish air show and general Bank Hol goings on were a significant factor, so we might break 3,000 as it's still early in the season, and many occasional fans will not yet have attended a home game this season.

But that's still well over 2,000 down on a few seasons ago, and continues a trend of lower attendances year-on-year. It will also plummet if things don't change on the pitch.

Loving the free flowing entertaining football at S
Fair point re the Air show i hadnt thought of that at the previous game...

I think 3000 will be very difficult going forwards untill the 2 big problems are addressed re price and entertainment.

Have I missed something? Is Dawlish air show now a rival for football?

Well there were 80,000 people there, so clearly quite popular.

Wow that is pretty impressive. I genuinely didn't know it was that well attended, which is why I asked.

This weekend will be interesting in terms of attendance then.

Take it thats not including the fair few thousand who couldnt make it into Dawlish and went to Exmouth beach to watch from there , Apparently the airplanes flew over Exmouth a few times giving everyone there a smaller show but still worth watching
