If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
I'd be up for another run as I have got a certificate but never seen the brick!
Don't remember getting a certificate ? I know my brick is still there though.

Don't think anything will happen until the re development is completed.

I think the point is, that the bricks become part of the development.

Mabe we could 'resurect' the Bricks Scheme and build them into an 'outer skin' in front of the breeze blocks we have as the retaining wall for the Memorial Garden!

At a rough guess i'd say that we'd need, 2 or 3 rows of plain bricks at the bottom, then 3 or 4 rows of 'Named Bricks', finished off with a couple of rows of plain bricks that would look really smart and add that bit extra to the Garden area. So possibly about 200 named bricks, give or take a few, if we sold more than all we'd have to do would be to reduce the number of plain bricks or make the rows of named bricks a bit longer.

I don't think that there are going to be many, if any, brick walls in the new development so finding a place to build the 'named bricks' into might not be so easy as first thought.

How much do you think the bricks might cost should the scheme be started again?
