Let's face it with the letters ASMSB and the word Rio in place there's not much it could be other than Sambas is there? You haven't solved the anagram question.

Something Boris's house to a degree might have performed in Rio.

At least your answer provides the initial of thei missing welsh band/artist. It's A !
