Gonna be a struggle without Trevitt & Carol on top of our other missing players.
Is Carroll injured?

I don’t think so. It’s more a case of managing him physically.
He had a major problem with his hip for a long time and hadn’t played for ages before he joined us in the summer.
I even noticed in the article about Sweenz that was posted on here that Tom needed an injection to be able to play in the recent match against Cheltenham.
He’ll probably struggle with the three games a week thing we’re about to enter.
I imagine he’ll sit out the Luton cup match so he’s hopefully available for as many league fixtures as possible.

I’d sooner Carroll is rested for Northampton as he’s so crucial to us. And as you say, if he needed an injection last week then he’s obviously playing through some discomfort.

I suspect we may say a handful of changes overall:

Fitzwater in for either Sweeney or Aimson.
Harper in for Jules
Taylor in for Trevitt
Kite to move central for Carroll
Watts to play RWB
Scott to come in up top

If Carroll is rested I can see us getting completely stuffed.

Not this season, but next season every game from the League cup will be on Sky sports.

Our list of injured players and players unavailable for other reasons makes for very uncomfortable reading at present.

Really need things to start to move in the right direction soon now.

We seem to be losing in multiples of 3. We’ve done 3 and we’ve done 9 - 0-12 and above seems slightly pessimistic so I’m going 0-6.
