I doubt if having 2,000 spectators much more than washes the club's face financially. Don't forget 1250 are ST holders who have already paid and the extra costs of stewards, security staff etc.
I don’t have access to any data but anticipate this analysis is broadly correct.

One benefit of restricted crowds is that it might keep people in the habit of attending. I am not sure at present whether crowds will flood back when restrictions end or whether folk have found other ways of spending their time and cash. The state of the economy and jobs once the various support packages end is another part of this conundrum.

If the game at Harrogate is postponed (their last two have been) then it will be 7 home games in a row! Deep joy and much travelling in February, March and April
Only for the players sadly 🙁
