Having seen the highlights on YouTube it wasn't Smerdon who was fouled (as reported on twitter) although he was very close by! Also going by the highlights, thank goodness that ref is still below league level. The penalty decision and two of the sendings off were very questionable to say the least. Good left footed finish by Jordan Dyer though for the equaliser. Looks like he is playing right back at the moment and he popped up around the penalty spot to guide a left wing cross in first time.

A goal and assist for Joel Randall in Weston's demolition of Dorchester. As mentioned in another thread Noah Smerdon also notched today and wins for Will Dean's Truro and Harry Kite's Taunton although Harry had to come off the bench again.

I think, with first team spots hard to get at the moment, getting first team men's football can only be a positive for the lads. Their progress is showing in the u23s premier cup in their competitiveness where their experience showed above Villa's academy based side.

I think (open to correction) that Harry Kite only dropped to bench when he had three games in five days. U23s for us on a Thursday, then Taunton games on Saturday and Tuesday.
