So I leave to get to the hospital at 9 to get my dreadfully painful eardrum fixed by the doc. He farking rings the hospital to say he is running late due to the traffic jam (standard excuse) and then calls again to say he'll arrive at 11.30.
Sensing that this was all bs and at 11.30 he'd call again with another farking excuse, I farked off with my ear still feeling like it had a red hot poker stuck in it.

You can be sure the **** got a nice little earner and dumped his regulars. *******!
Now I've got to farking suffer for another 2 days to see if he decides to show up on Wednesday. ****
If my posts sound strangely bolshy compared with my usual polite and pleasant tone the above is the reason.

Not sure if you've tried it and obviously depends on what's wrong, but holding a hot water bottle against it normally soothes ear pain

Every time on TV when there's a live game you get an apology if by chance a choice word is heard from the game, Also every TV show, Especially soaps they have warnings about "Distressing scenes", Jeez it's not real, It's TV, Have we become so sensitive?

It might work, I guess it depends what's causing the pain in the inner ear. Give it a try (if you have a hot water bottle, not sure there's much call for them in Indonesia). It definitely works for some of the more common ear issues

Thanks again. Feels like there are a couple of cotton buds stuck in the eardrum - but there aren't. Also affecting the throat. Hoping the specialist would fix it today, but he bugged out.
I'll try the hot water.

At the recycling containers people who put their glass containers in the skips but leave the metal tops on the ground !!
Others who leave the bottles in a bag beside the containers in the expectation that the fairies will deposit them(usually me,no jokes please )

At SJP,spectators who do not put used hot drinks cups in the many bins provided !
Especially in the seated areas.it would make the wonderful folk who clear up on the Monday & sort out the recycling,jobs so much quicker if they did not have to go around collecting the spent cups.

Seen on the news that Indonesia is now heading up their CV19 testing. Could explain why your doc might have been otherwise distracted?

Anyway Mike. Get well soon mate! Hope you manage to evade this Corona virus - perhaps regular doses of (f)Lucozade - or something a bit stronger? - might help alleviate your symptoms.

Not learning enough Italian yet to realise that what I thought was breaded chicken was in fact vegetarian version of chicken. It said pollo on the packet, but had other words next to it. I saw pollo, I assumed chicken.
