Plymouth Hoe is one of the most well-known sites in the UK’s seafaring history, the spot where Sir Francis Drake reputedly finished a game of bowls before heading out to fight the Spanish Armada.

But Facebook has found itself in hot water after challenging some posts from local people who innocently mentioned the Hoe, mistakenly thinking they were using a misogynist term.

Hi Google Ads. Plymouth Hoe is a famous landmark in Devon. Please don't waste my time by suspending adverts to this page. Thanks. Hants.

I saw that story too. I'd have thought "Plymouth" rather than "Hoe" would have been deemed offensive.

Particularly Florida. You might get hit by Trump's golf ball.

Seeing a van with one working headlight this morning, then clocking the words "Auto Electrician" on the side of the van.

This winter we have had plenty of different birds in our garden, some like Siskins and Black Caps we've never had before. We sat down yesterday afternoon for an hour to do the Big Garden Birdwatch and record the visitors to the feeders.

Bugger all. Not a dicky bird showed up.

Two sparrows and a pigeon. Won't take long to upload our sightings this time round.

We are lucky where we are. We get Herons in the field opposite, Sparrowhawks perching on our fence, a Pheasant that is always hanging around the garden, Bullfinches and different species of finch in the blackberry bushes and we have owls in the evening too.
