Hotels are filling up quick, possibly due to the Ashes Test at Headingley that weekend. (What a disgraceful piece of scheduling by the ECB!)

just seen on the leeds web site we are going to be a category b match so a bit more pricey than we would of hoped
£21 for adults

Not sure that anyone would fit on to category C for a league match, so not too unexpected.

We're staying at the Wakefield Woolley Edge Travelodge on the Saturday night!

So there's not much point going into Wakefield after the match then?

Should be OK actually. Like many places, Wakefield is no-go for students at the weekend as it is "locals time".

A bit grim would be my recollection.

Yes but it's only 10 minutes to Leeds on the train.

OK, last train is at 10:45 but it's a cab ride back.

I think Wakefield is a lot better than most towns/ cities in that part of Yorkshire though- I went through Dewsbury once. Never again....
