Swindon have had a good season whatever the outcome of their play off bid. They only had 6 players signed on 2 weeks before the season started, could only sign free agents due to a transfer embargo initially.
And lost their best defender as well

Bit like our "run" to the Autos going under the radar as everyone creamed themselves on the Vegans
Unfortunately a story about a well-run club achieving success isn’t deemed as newsworthy as Dale Vince’s latest publicity stunt or what John Yems may or may not have said.

Surely it would need to be a cream substitute?

Yep...Birds ‘cream’ Topping...Not sure if that’s still available ?

I think you can still get this but it's probably veggie rather than vegan! I've now got a craving for Butterscotch Angel Delight.

To drag this back to League 2 (this season) I think you've massively benefitted from being under the radar - and whilst the whole FGR 'brand' has contributed, along with what was an incredible story with Rovers on Saturday. it's probably no bad thing that you'll go in to next season without a massive focus on the club. A lot of teams that seem to have done well around Pompey in recent years have just quietly gone about their business and improved without making a song and dance about it.

I'd be interested to see where we are if these numbers were useded to account for miles travelled.

Wondering if I'm on a different planet
Is that average away at SJP or average City at other grounds?

OK, here goes. Firstly, I accept that I need to get a life. Secondly, here's the stats in order of 'number of average away fans x total miles travelled / total miles travelled by these top 9 clubs':

1. Bristol Rovers - 124
2. Exeter - 102
3. Bradford - 96
4. Tranmere - 95
5. Swindon - 94
6. Oldham - 79
7. Mansfield - 78
8. Port Vale - 77
9. Northampton - 61

Looks much better.
