Steve Tully, good clubman who does a steady job, could we do better - yes.

Always gives it 100%. Maybe not the quickest, but not slow and I have seen some good crosses from him. A very loyal player, totally committed out there on the pitch.

Obviously I have no idea what the current budget is however considering we play with attacking wing backs I think we could do with someone with a bit of pace and better delivery than Tully provides.

If I was manager would be one of first choices on team sheet!

If I was chairman would talk manager out of buying a new right back!

Steve Tully is one of our most consistent performers and always gives 100%..... Y fix, what is not broken?

Always gives 100%, totally committed etc etc, in other words he lacks abilty.

Also considering how often he gets forward how many assists does he have this season ?

Not many.

Heart of big bank !!
Fret not.

Bertie will have kicked him into the air before he gets anywhere near Tully.

^^ Hahahaaa i love that :L

No Tully is wicked, i mean he occasionally has a shocker, but you could say that about most of our players. I think Tully is quality.

Petitions = Pathetic
Tully is on a Stanno inspired mission this year and is doing his mate justice.

I love a bit of fire in the belly and long may it continue!

A great captain. UTC!

We all would like a wing back who can tackle, can dribble, can beat a man, who has pace and is able to put in a killer cross. However, we are a league 1 club, without massive resources and without substantial pulling power.

Realistically we have to therefore cut back on a few attributes, ie have a player who is slightly more defensive OR have a player who is slightly more attacking.

Tully is one of the more defensive types but it's fair to say his attacking attributes have come on leaps and bounds in the past couple of years. IMO he is a decent player for this level and overall, I've certainly been impressed with his displays over the past couple of seasons. Ideally a cover player for that position would be good, but I feel resources may be better spent elsewhere.

Probably a more accurate assessment to that of your #153 post
