Russia claiming that UK troops are on the ground in Ukraine. Should we be pleased , not surprised or worried if this is the case?
Do you believe everything the Russians say? Before they invaded Ukraine the Russians said they had no intention of doing so and were just "Training" if UK troops are there I'd assume they'd be there showing how to use some weapons etc?

Last year some leaked US military documents revealed that up to 50 UK Special Forces were operating in Ukraine along with smaller numbers of various other Western SF. The German military leak was that either they, or some further technicians, have been involved in Ukraine using our Storm Shadow cruise missiles; presumably because that helps with the targeting but perhaps also for reasons of oversight.

Several crewmembers are reported missing and several more seriously injured following a Houthi attack on a Barbados flagged merchant vessel.

Hopefully, those missing are found alive and well but unfortunately it looks like this is probably the first fatal attack.

Murdering and terrorising innocent and unconnected seafarers is one way to show solidarity for Gaza I suppose.....but not the method I would choose.

Looks like either the Houthis are going up through the gears of weapons they already had or Iran has found a way to supply them with more advanced missiles than they previously had (more likely IMO):

All hell has broken loose in Russia overnight and this morning. Massed Ukrainian drone attacks have set various oil refineries ablaze as well as warehouses at St Petersburg airport and a nearby power station:

Ukraine's Russian volunteers have again crossed into Russia's border area and seized villages while shelling government buildings in the city of Belgorod:

To add to the confusion, a military transport aircraft has crashed after an engine fell off in mid-flight (not directly the result of Ukrainian action but maybe an indirect result of sanctions):

Major upheavals in Russia at the moment.
Putin claims the election was rigged by his opponents and the west after only gaining 99.99% of the vote.
Troops being withdrawn from Ukraine to urgently hunt down the "missing" 0.01%
