Plural spelling, too...sighI think you need to learn the appropriate use of apostrophes before trying to start debates on anything.
Would it have been O.K if Lez has added a final noun ?Plural spelling, too...sigh
Well, if it was "academy's" then "academy" as a singular noun would require a determiner (our/a/the/ Exeter City's etc.). If it was plural it would be "academies' ". Are you taking the p*ss, Alistair?? Apologies for diverting the thread : please don't hit me, Lez.Would it have been O.K if Lez has added a final noun ?
Here to be educated.
Au contraire. Merely trying to get Lez out of trouble and I had thought of the "determiner" but did not know what to call it. So I have learned something too. I am much obliged.Well, if it was "academy's" then "academy" as a singular noun would require a determiner (our/a/the/ Exeter City's etc.). If it was plural it would be "academies' ".
