Would be helpful for the site to make citations - I can't really dispute any of the figures as I don't have a scooby what our players are on, my one quibble would be I can't see Bowman being on just £700 per week especially given the amount we reportedly signed him for and the logic that forwards tend to attract higher wages than other positions.
Thought it was made clear by both clubs it was a ‘nominal fee’, in other words, very little.

It appears to me that these figures across the board may be close enough. Clearly, in other sports and higher leagues the transparency could be higher just because there is more news dedicated to them. However, it's helpful to have an indication of what other clubs are budgeting compared to how they're performing...(Accrington Stanley still stand out)

Likewise, while not remotely scientific, one look at Bowman's top-of-the-range Jag, complete with the obligatory personalised numberplate, would suggest he's on significantly more than £700 a week.

How much did we sign him for ?
I might have got my wires crossed and come up in my head with a fee that we instead shelled out for Stockley. Even so, my point re: doubting him being on "just" £700 p/w stands.

At the time of the transfer Skysports said we paid a "nominal" fee.

I reckon Bowman is on anything between 1k - 1.5k a week.

Total guesswork though.

He's got a bedsit in Exmouth though.

Something like 50% of new cars are bought on finance deals...

A personalised number plate can be had for £250. How do you know his Jag is top of the range - you'll need to provide a bit more info than that. Current shape XFs can be bought for less than £15k from a main dealer, stick a personalised plate on it and debadge it and you have no idea which variant of a particular model it is or how new it is.

Those numbers don’t look too different from what I’d have guessed. Aaron Martin being our top earner is hard to swallow though. Suspect Ajose is on more too.
