I thought he had a really tidy game yesterday. Kept the ball moving nicely with some short and sharp passing. Certainly didn't look out of place in the first XI.
Unlike Ben Seymour @Albumen ;)

IMO he was OK but no more.

First half, caught in possession too often and didn't open up play that much.

Came into the game more 2nd half after Atangana (head and shoulders our best player) was rested and Wycombe had only 10 men after they had no more subs.

I do think he will develop into a decent player but needs game time - "minutes", as the cliché has it.

When he has space and time he plays well - he did that last night and across preseason. Both his movement with the ball and distribution very strong. Needs the time to deal better with less space and more pressure

thanks so much for these views. It was difficult to assess from either the radio commentary or the 9 minutes of extended highlights.

The extended highlights showed (two?) occasions where he lost the ball and the opposition then threatened our goal. But didn't show the 'keeping the ball ticking over' or much of his movement or distribution. So from the highlights it looks like a disappointing performance when it wasn't.

Agreed. I have been pleasantly surprised by his performances to date. Long may this good run continue.

Big Nige just needs to start games regularly. He grows into the game as the game grows around him. When he comes off of the bench the game already has it's tempo and Nige doesn't adapt to it quickly enough to be effective.

He was rated by Cheltenham fans so perhaps we're finally seeing what he can do. He's not looking like giving it away every time... I'm convinced he's getting more space and time v last year - is this to do with the Dieng for Taylor switch (JT did have a tendancy to go running off sometimes) or the formation.... I'm not clever enough to know but he's looking good

Not sure what the issue was but Atangana plainly wasn't at his best last year. However, when fit, I thought he looked immense in his first season with us.

Was it perhaps a weight issue? He looks to have lost a few kilos over the summer.
