Soory Lammie but I think you are just plain wrong. Potential? What's the point in potential if it's never realised, nor, more importantly, even looking like it's going to be realised? I bet you'll still be saying about his potential in ten years time when he's playing for Dawlish Villa.

Mackie is a headless chicken who runs hard and works hard, but he can't pass, he can't shoot and he doesn't know what offside means. FFS just how many games does he have to play before this actually sinks in? I bet he's played not far off 100 times for us now, yet he looks no better now than when he first got here.

£50k derisory? For a Conference player with a goals to games ratio of just over 0.1? £50 more like - he just isn't that good, nor will he ever be.

Well quite. You can tell the lack of quality in them by the fact that they've been dropped from the matchday programme - I mean, who wants to read that sh*te?

A read back through this thread would appear to confirm that the quality of debate was indeed better back then. Perhaps we just had more interesting things to talk about though?
