George Best Scenario

Instead of being born when he was, George Best happened to be
born in 1998. He is now 10 years old and instead of going for a
trial at 16 at MU he is signed on as a schoolboy for their Academy.

A) Does he become an even better player for the coaching he's
going to recieve?

B) The coaching does not improve his football genius and he stays
the same great player he was.

C) The coaching has a detrimental effect on him and he is less of
a player.

Purely hyperthetical I know but I would be intersted in anyones
thoughts on this.

If anything the standard of today's game would have improved George Best's ability.

I agree with Tom's comment.

IMO George Best's ability would have improved due to the higher quality of players around him.

Comfortably mid-table
The new owners of Man City try to kidnap him from Old Trafford. Whilst trying to escape from the dressing room he is mortally wounded by the dogs guarding Rio Ferdinand's reinforced jewellery locker.

He wakes up in the past surrounded by the Busby Babes. In the corner of the dressing room is the mysterious 'Davy Jones's Locker'.

The BBC turn it into a series called 'All The Young Dudes' with Phil Glenister as Gene Hunt the programme seller. Episode one - Diamond Dogs.
