January is notoriously difficult to sign players and with MT previously finding it really difficult to sign the players he wanted in the summer months it will be interesting to see how quickly Caldwell can produce the goods in a difficult January window.
I would imagine Gary Caldwell will have a few more contacts, than Matt did,but we,will have to wait and see

So Connor Wickham has left Forest Green.Might want to stay in South West, but he's a player that I immediately think will ask for too high a salary without knowing anything about his previous contracts.

I wouldn’t want him, there’s a reason he’s dropped all the way down to FGR level.

Wickham would be a good signing. He's a different option to what we already have. Although as has been mentioned, his wages might be an issue.
Wages are an issue, but a good addition to the team/squad.

Beat me to it.

The article suggests Charlton should go for a Swap & Cash deal for Nombe, with Stockley coming back to us. It's purely opinion, but an interesting one at that.

...and may feel that Charlton have a much higher ceiling as a club in the next few seasons, than Exeter, who may well hit a peak this term.
Genuine belief or just wishful thinking and spin!

The elephant in the room to that idea is Stockley's wages. We're paying at three players on what he earns.
