I'm a little surprised that they haven't come in for Tillson as that would be a good move for all concerned!!
We need Tillson until we no longer have EFL and U23 Cup games, if not longer. He is still a valuable squad player.

Yep, useful player to have available at times. I doubt that the Monkey Hangers would have overrun us in the first match if Tilson had come on for the last 25 minutes.

Big Blonde moment for Preston. Stockley scores what sounds like the winner.

Jack Stacey played the full 90 against Chelsea today. Clean sheet and a win.

An astonishing set of city players today in the top four of their leagues .

League One. A full set of all four. Three of the top four Wycombe, Ipswich and Bristol Rovers had city players score - Wheeler, Norwood and Nichols. The other in the top four, Peterborough , had Christy Pym keep a clean sheet.

Championship. Preston go third courtesy of Jayden Stockley ‘s late winner. Brentford go fourth due to a goal partly set up by leading scorer Ollie Watkins. Leaders WBA will now rely heavily on former loanee Kyle Edwards, who scored in midweek, and is now deputising for Diangana, whom he replaced in WBA’s comeback to go top. Swansea Captain Matt Grimes set up the third goal in their win, but recent form has seen them now two points off the top four.

Bundesliga. RB Leipzig go top, so don’t need to summon Ethan Ampadu from the bench.

Premier League. No one in the top four, but Jack Stacey played the full game in winning away at the side in fourth place,Chelsea.

League Two. Exeter City have lots of current players in second place (!). Third placed Cheltenham had Reuben Reid starting up front yesterday.

Loanees. National League South. Fourth and fifth places occupied by Alex Hartridge’s Bath and Joel Randall at Weymouth.

Loanees . Southern League Premier South. Will Dean’s Truro are top . Tiverton are third courtesy of Smerdon, Dyer and (IIRC) Key. Fourth is Harry Kite’s Taunton.
