I think Sercombe is better than FGR.He has had a very respectable career in the lower league. Possibly staying in the area for family reasons.

Perhaps the Vegans have offered him a more lucrative or longer deal to play in the Conference than what's been offered by Cheltenham for league 2 ?

Highly likely that FGR will be towards the top of the table. Maybe he fancied a promotion charge rather than years of being in the bottom half for Cheltenham
