Do we know if this important issue has been resolved?
i think Cheggers should post photographic evidence of the size of the buns at St James' Park. Purely so that Exiles can see for themselves.

Hypothetical question - Would we rather win this cup and have a European adventure or stay up this year?

Personally I would rather we get relegated and win the Carling Cup. The revenue from going the whole way and the fun of travelling to Lithuania for a European tie would be too much to miss!
Haha that would be amazing! Euro trips with City...!

I'd love to see a lower league euro competition. Completely improbable, but a fun thought non-the-less.

Away on a Tuesday night at Sandhausen SV would be amazing

But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day...

Win the Carling Cup and it's not even close.

Er, Championship Manager 93 featured that competition didn't it?

Rather like the non-league England team.

Great as it would be, I imagine the dreaded £ would put pay to any such ideas.

I think it was originally introduced because Swindon won the League Cup from this division and they weren't allowed to compete in the UEFA Cup (then the Fairs Cup) under the UEFA rules at the time. It was abandoned due to eroding popularity and increasing crowd trouble in the end.

It would be interesting to see whether some form of lower league European competition would generate sufficient interest today. I doubt it, although I'd personally rather like the idea of hopping on the Easyjet for a couple of matches in odd corners of Europe.
