Morning all, big game today, really looking forward to this one. Come On City!!!

Exeter v Rochdale
COCA COLA LEAGUE TWO
Venue: St James Park, Exeter Date: Saturday, 20 December Kick-off: 1500 GMT Coverage: Live commentary on BBC Radio Devon 990 MW from 1600 GMT

Exeter striker Marcus Stewart faces a late fitness test on an ankle injury.

Centre-backs Fred Murray (knee) and Matt Taylor (foot) are also on the injury list for City.

Defender Scott Wiseman could return from a hamstring strain for Rochdale but skipper Gary Jones (knee ligaments) and Lee Thorpe (back) are out.

Rory McArdle is available after serving a suspension and is likely to replace Nathan Stanton, who is himself banned, at the heart of the defence.

Here's hoping for another 3 points today, with a good performance and no silly stuff from anyone!

Up the City!

Weather at 10.35 Dull with a substantial cloud cover. Current temperature 6c with a wind from the south west that is likely to increase from its present force 3 during the course of the morning. 4mm of rain during the last 24 hours and as befits the shortest but one day for us in the Northern Hemisphere it will 'get dark' early, so expect the floodlights from 'the off'.
I do hope, after last weeks events that someone has revved up the stand-by generator at SJP!

Tis a big test as Dale are a decent side. Defence need to be on there toes today for sure and we need to take our chances when they come along. A draw would be most likely today.

Excellent start to the thread Geraint. Rochdale hold the record for longest stay in one division. 35 years in League Two. We should be able to beat them if we aspire to League One.
