Sounds like you're saying it was a game where you could split it into two 45 minute periods which were very different from each other.
That's a bit of a mouthful. Someone needs to coin a short and snappy phrase.

Do we owe Yeovil some credit for the work they must have done to help Sonny develop into a quality league one striker
I don’t think Yeovil would have improved his skill set, more likely playing in a team full of confidence and in great form brought out the best in him.

An utterly bizarre game. First half we showed absolutely no ambition whatsoever. We didn't even look like we wanted to attack Bolton's goal and were more than happy to sit in our own half.
Well, it's obvious now isn't it? Practised defending in the first half and practised attacking in the second half. It almost worked too! Can we now just practise attacking in both halves please?

It turns out Bolton aren't like Brazil and if you put a tackle in and compete physically they might just be a better than average league one side.

Turns out if you play the ball forward, quicker and more direct you'll create some chances.

Turns out if you play like that the crowd will back the team and some atmosphere will be generated.

Two brilliant finishes by Cox and despite not being able to hold on the crowd appreciated the effort and clapped them off.
Bolton where awful second half. It's 2 points dropped for Whites, thread bear squad but that's not an excuse.

City deserved to win that to be honest. Sonny Cox deserves every penny of that new deal and the club deserve every penny of what ever silly money he is sold for.

City all but safe now.... Wanderers probably the play off's.

Got soaking wet in the away end but seeing the big bank going nuts when the second went in was an odd feeling but boy did it look good.

Att of the sub was in the middle of typing NOT a fan of changing centerbacs during a game .. but it was done .. so no point.. shame we couldnt give Jerome a little more of what our u 21's? gave him at palace.. anyone go ? Thought we had more than enuf chances to win the game...their keeper was either shockingly bad or pulling of worldies...thought boltons LHS was open to be exploited..it lacked pace and quality think Rankin would have run amok... But hey ho a decent point against a 'top' level div 1 squad .onwards and upwards...

It was pure Caldwell condensed into one game. Why can’t he get consistency into his teams?

Their keeper was terrible.

We were super consistent September - November, to be fair.

Don’t care what anyone says, THAT was a game of football. Thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon, and although the team will probably get pelters for the first half, rather like we’ve done often ourselves, for all their dominance Bolton never really troubled Sinisalo and are probably kicking themselves that they failed to put the game beyond us by half time.

In the end a draw is a fair result, but I can’t half think we didn’t quite have the luck in the second half to convert a couple of those mental goalmouth scrambles. Shame. However, put in performances like that for the rest of the season and we’ll be home and dry in no time. Oh, and no boos for Aimson (although there were some frankly moronic boos at halftime) who I thought had a great game. In fact, they all did. A good day all round I’d say.
