I've just heard from a good source that he's being loaned out for the next season.
Doubt it seen as he's not old enough.

So disappointing. Doesn't matter how happy we all are for him reality is we've developed a player from 11 years only see him depart before we benefit from our investment.

The system maybe wrong, no protection for clubs in this situation, we may get a small percentage in compensation of what we could have received if there was a binding contract, but what is so disappointing is the decision by his family to move to Chelsea.

A club with a notoriously bad record of developing talent, hardly the dream move is it? why not stay a year with Exeter? or consider a club with an established successful academy with a record of internal development.

If it was truly about his career progressing then Im sorry he's made the wrong choice.

So uneducated. Chelsea have the biggest youth academy in English football. For a youth player looking to get into a premiership club then there's no better choice. I'm not confident he's gone there to play a part in the Chelsea squad

Before we all p!$$ ourselves in anger why don't we just wait and see what we get in terms of a fee and add ons.

If we get a 20% sell on fee and Real Madrid pay 100m for him on 6 or 7 years time we'll be laughing

Thought it was stated last season that he wanted to wait and get the best deal possible for City as a thank you for all that had been done for him? or maybe being left out at Wembley made him change his mind?
